Descriptive, colourful and vibrant, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons have transcended
changing times and tastes to remainone of the most popular works of all
time.
Marwood intersperses a year in Italy with one in Argentina. Piazzolla’s Four
Seasons of Buenos Aires contains distant echoes of the earlier work, but is driven
by a unique spirit, blending tangotinged flavours of South America with the harmonies of European music and a temperament close to jazz.
