A leading concert pianist, in demand by such conductors as Pierre Boulez, Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Colin Davis, she is equally at ease collaborating with contemporary, jazz and world artists. She also finds time to act as promoter, artistic director, educator and boss of her own record label Sound Circus. Her début concert as soloist and director with the Irish Chamber Orchestra is a masterpiece of imaginative programming. Two very different tastes from the twentieth century are on offer – Britten’s ebullient suite for strings and piano and Piazzolla’s sensual South American tangos.
